Fire Station #3
Fire Station #3 was constructed in 2000 and is located at 541 Bedford Road. The unusual feature about this station is that the apparatus bays are located in the base of a 2 Million Gallon overhead storage tank. The bays in the tower are considered to be a temporary measure. Bonds have been passed to allow us to build another section to the station with three bays and move the apparatus out from under the tower. This station is run by Engine 153, a 1500 GPM Sutphen Engine and M153, a fully equipped M.I.C.U. manufactured by Excellance. The station is staffed by a minimum of 5 personnel at all times.
