Minimum Qualifications To Apply: 

  • High School Diploma or GED​

  • Firefighter/Paramedic Certified

  • Firefighter/EMT

  • Paramedic Certified

  • Must have or be able to obtain a Class B CDL or CDL Exempt Texas Driver's License

  • Must be able to pass physical ability test

Job Summary for Firefighter/Paramedic position:


Under direct supervision, responsible for front line fire, EMS, rescue, hazardous materials and support operations demonstrating knowledge of departmental policies, procedures and EMS protocols. Will maintain emergency vehicles and facilities. May provide related training to the public as needed. This position is essential to emergency operations and therefore in the event of an emergency, all employees are required, and therefore must have the ability to respond to emergency situations off-duty.
